One of the most famous superbikes ever made, the Suzuki Hayabusa, has been redesigned for 2021.

Building on the success of the previous two generations, it has over 550 new parts and remains instantly recognizable, though it does boast improved aerodynamics, with sharper lines and new mirror design.

The motorcycle also features stacked LED headlights, positioned between the angular air intakes, new LED rear lights, chrome-plated twin exhausts and two analogue gauges flanking the TFT display, which shows a plethora of information, from the trip computer to the ambient temperature, clock, selected gear, etc.

Making the riding experience safer and more pleasant are the electronic aids, such as the lean angle-sensitive ABS, hill-start assist, traction control, engine brake control, launch control, cruise control, active speed limiter, and bi-directional quick shifter. Suzuki's Drive Mode Selector Alpha, which provides access to the different riding modes, is also present.

The 2021 Hayabusa's chassis has been upgraded. There is a new subframe that contributes to the weight-saving, bigger brake discs up front and new suspension.

The 1,340 cc inline-four engine was chosen to power the new superbike, after the brand's engineers experimented with other units, including six-pots. The mill, which produces 187 HP and 150 Nm (111 lb-ft) of torque, has undergone extensive reworking and complies with the Euro 5 emission standard, allowing the new 'Busa to hit an electronically limited top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).

Suzuki's 2021 Hayabusa will arrive at dealers across the UK starting next month, with a recommended retail price of £16,499 (equal to $22,499).
